Last June, i got to see the infamous wave. Unfortunately it was to windy, so the wave was weak. Tahitians are proud of this wave, it is located on the wild side of the main island. If you ever go to Polynesia, please go by there!
Oh and if you're into beautiful pictures, the ocean, the sun and the surf. Make sure to check this book (released on sept. 4th in the u.s.): Teahupoo: Tahiti's Mythic Wave

SF this past weekend...
That was a short trip...exactly 13 hours. I came back in NY exhausted but i had as usual a very nice time there.
After a long nap, i went for some food at the brand new Bossa Nova Franky Boissy and Gilles (owners of PINK) decided to open this brazillian bar/restaurant.
The place was packed and the food (tapas style) was excellent. If you ever go there, get the different grilled meats served on skewers and the yummy coconut rice..
After dinner, we headed straight to PINK.
I play there 5 to 6 times a year with Franky Boissy. Always a great time, we usually play 3 records each. I got to test out the next release on Chez:
"Black Sun" by Stephen Rigmaiden. The response was very good on the floor, plus Stephen was there at the gig. We both got to feel the reaction of the crowd. We finished at 3:30.
I headed back to the hotel and 2 hours later i was at SFO boarding my flight.
Got back in the east village at 6pm and by Midnite i was at APT. with Darshan. Looooooong weekend.

Last nite at APT.Sundays
A few snapshots from last night at APT. The party is doing well, even though yesterday was raining non stop. DJ True played a good set, I got home around 6am. The first part of the night was full in the upstairs room and by 3am Downstairs was rammed.
August is almost over, Labor day weekend in 2 weeks with a great dj lineup:
Busy P. aka Pedro Winter (Ed Banger records, Paris) + DIXON (Innervision, Berlin) + Stephen Rigmaiden (Chez, SF) and your residents: Neil Aline & Jason Angola.

'Zizou' allegedly said, "If you really want my shirt, you can have it after the match."
Materazzi responded, "I'd prefer your slut of a sister."
